- Government’s Stance: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed the government is ready to discuss the NEET paper leak. Rijiju also noted that PM Modi emphasized the government stands with the students and promised strict action against those involved in the leaks.
- Opposition Pushback: Congress MP K.C. Venugopal raised the issue of the paper leaks and police action, demanding the immediate resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav demanded that PM Modi make an official statement directly inside Parliament, stressing that this is about the future of the youth, not politics.
